Fallen trees give back to the forest that raised them in many ways. They provide shelter and habitat to small mammals, a perch for birds, nutrients to fungi, and they decompose to create the soil that helps sustain the forest so that new trees can grow.

What an opportunity to practice Alpine Skills with Laurie and Simone!! A beautiful way to round out 2020.
